Hi, everybody!

My name is Emili, I live in Tarrytown, New York, and my birthday is in two days. I'm conflicted as to whether numbers are more powerful when you write them out or when you use the numerals for them.

email: backyardvolcano@yahoo.com

Cheers!

Hey guys.
First of all, I would like to say thank you to the people that sent out the journal.
Second, I would like to ask those that didn't send the journal on to please let me know they have it. I'm freaking out over here.
If for some reason you never recieved an email i sent askign to pass it on, let me know, I'll resend it. If you aren't able to send it any longer, tell me, and i'll take it back, cod (that means you don't have to pay).
Just PLEASE let me know.

Oh wow! I don't know how I managed my way into this, but I think it's an amazing idea and so very interesting. I'd love to receive a journal that people have written in throughout the country and then share my writtings.

I am moving this weekend though...I doubt anything will happen before then.

Hey all! I am on my way to the post office to mail per posta 2 to Myra in Kentucky. I am very sad that it's all wrapped up. I wrote a lottttttt so you should have fun. Especially with Jill's aweeeeeesome stuff too. You are a lucky girl.

I think we should make it a per posta tradition to include lovely pictures/scanned stuff of the things we find in the journals to share with people not as fortunate as us.

So, here I go. I am sharing with the world Jill's brilliance. I don't have a scanner so I resorted to digital camera-ing it. PS Jill, I friends onlied it in case you don't want snoopers to see it, but I can unfriend only it if you want, and I can also take stuff out if you want too. That means everyone in the community can see it right?

I'm sad to see it go.Collapse )

I got my journal, Jill!!!!!

I have a couple of questions. How long can I have it for? Who do I send it to next? I think I had another question, but I don't remember it, do you?

I left a post before (2004-06-02 15:56) and I do have a mailing address here in the states, and I will be here until the end of August, and then I go back to Scotland. I am SO keen to take part in this, and as postage would be cheaper for most people to post to new hampsire than scotland, I thought I'd let them know that I'm here now, and I will send my address as reply to email (love_big_z@hotmail.com).

hey there. just sent alex her journal yesterday... how fast does mail go from PA to CA?

don't worry girl, i think i filled up enough pages so you won't be horribly bored at getting a relatively "new" journal -- but alison (mod) just told me that i can sign up again in the fall and get a full journal then, so you could do the same :)

I've been floating around the west coast for almost a week and a half now, but i'm back in my home base.
I've bought another journal and will send it out the next time i don't have work from 9-6. because then the post office will be open. goodness, i'm feeling loopy tonight.
If you haven't sent me your FULL NAME and MAILING ADDRESS please do so. I know i haven't asked everyone to yet, but the journals are moving around now, so i need the addresses of people who want them. my email is fivechordriot@yahoo.com. Please don't forget to include whether or not you are willing to send the journal out of the country.

on an unrelated note, if anyoen would liek to recieve postcards from me, also let me know. I've been collecting postcards and would liek to send them. If you want to send me a postcard, too, I'd love it!

cheers
alison

hey everyone.
When you get a journal, if you see something that catches your interest, please scan or photgraph it and post it here (behind a lj cut, of course). In the memories, I'll compile things from each journal. If, for some reason, you don't want something scanned, write a note indicating just that on the page. Please don't take pictures of scan something that is already part of the memories.
Amanda (_beginoncemore_) and Jill (singingcynic) should each have a journal by saturday.
